BIO: Jay Harn joined The Signal as publisher in July 2007. Previous to that he was publisher of The Red Bluff Daily News in northern California. Prior to that he owned and was editor/publisher of his own group of eight newspapers in East San Diego County for 11 years. He has been in the newspaper business for 25 years and loves the Santa Clarita Valley. From 1986 to 1988 he was City Editor of The Signal. When he was here in the mid-80s it was an exciting time. Jay was here through the cityhood campaign and election and had the privilege of working under Scott, Ruth and Tony Newhall. "I fully believe that The Signal is a great newspaper covering a great community"...On a personal note, Jay has been married to his wife Teresa for 19 years and they have three children, all of whom attend local public schools.
