Blake DeWitt is having a fine day in his Major League debut as the Dodgers third baseman, but with DeWitt being just 22 and with injuries to Andy LaRoche and Nomar Garciaparra, there is a question as to whther the Dodgers will seek out another option. Dodgers owner Frank McCourt addressed the situation prior to Monday's game. He said: "If there's somebody out there that's going to make the team better, we're going to get him. It's one of those situations, I don't want to call it a predicament, but we have guys. It's not like they're down for the season. We have a lot of confidence in our guys. By the way, Blake DeWitt's done a really really nice job, but we just don't want to put too much pressure on him too early."
