Take Me To Post Comment Form So after posting something in this blog about what is going wrong with Santa Clarita, I wanted to now turn your attention to the reason why I moved here and what makes Santa Clarita great.

I was in the Starbucks at Copperhill and Seco this morning and noticed that there were 2 posters up on the community bulletin board. They were both for fundraisers for Tom Bolewski to help him during his recovery. I hope that he doesn't mind me mentioning his name, but I wanted to show that Santa Clarita is a community that helps its own. I don't know Tom personally, but I used to see him at all of the Valencia football games watching his son play. I don't even know all of the circumstances, it just hit me that community involvement like this is why I moved here 17 years ago. Although Santa Clarita has probably quadrupled in size since I moved here, it is things like this that give me hope that we can hang on to a little bit of the good that Santa Clarita was known for.

Good luck Tom on a speedy recovery, you seem like you are in good hands.
