Take Me To Post Comment Form I have said this many times and it is worth continued repeating until people realize where the spending must be cut.

Cut administrative costs, down grade the vehicles furnished (make them purchase with less fuel consumption in mind), keep the buildings simple (no lavish furnishings). Instead of 5 secretaries in a school cut it to 3 same with other employees, except teachers. Cut wasteful social programs and get back to what our schools are intended to do...teach math, reading, science, history.....not feel good political correct nonsense. Vote for true tort reform so teachers can punish (sit in corner, etc.) students that do not behave.

Get the unions out of our class rooms so that bad teachers can be fired without fear of retribution and I firmly believe that merit pay is the best way to go, then seniority, etc.

Those that earn their living through the schools had better pay close attention...more and more parents are taking their children out of public schools and rightly so.

Get with it people, stop being cowards and tighten the belts where it won't hurt our teachers and children...they are our hope for the future.
