Things are not as they were 30+ years ago when those of that remember what it was to have to get up off of the couch to change the channel on the television.
Today is much more of an "instant gratification" venue with the children that are being raised.
Also, Halloween is not as entirely safe as it probably was in the past. So I have a few tips that you might want to think about before sending your kids out amongst the Ghosts and Goblins.
I am not sure how old my kids will be when I am confident enough to send them out alone - But I have a 14 and a 7 and I am not ready. But they will have reflective cuff bands for one of their ankles just in case there is a motorist that needs a visual reminder of a person crossing the road.
I will go through all the candy after they get home and forbid them to eat any prior to allowing me to take a look. There are a few folks out there that are just plain "sick". If we do our due diligence and make sure we are watching, we won't have as many regrets.
Keep it safe and talk with you soon.
