Last night on American Idol, in the Alaina Whitaker video vignette she shared about how she didn't like her food to touch. She can't have her sauce mix with the food next to it, etc... which is odd, but I know people like that, so no biggie.
After the vignette, as Alaina starts her song, my wife turns to me and says, "It's like her teeth."
We were laughing for a good while!
On a more positive note, I liked “Hopelessly Devoted To You," though she was eclipsed by a couple others.

Yeah, my wife made me watch the girls last night (!) and we thought the same thing about the food-obsessive. Like, is she still scared of the boogieman and does she still believe in the Easter bunny? I thought the blonde with the guitar was the best of the evening. She even had enough class to thank the band. I admit seeing the last few guys the other night, and the kid who sang "Imagine" was head and shoulders above the other posers I saw in the pre-voting highlights.
I can't believe I'm doing this post about "American I-Dull." I guess it's a guilty pleasure!

My wife and I both agree that David Archuleta did a great job. He'll do very well. A great smile, a bashful modest demeanor, and an awesome voice. People will love him and more importantly for him, the girls will love him.
