Description: SCV's first ever EcoFest 2008 will take place along Valencia High School's central campus pathway on Sunday, May 18th from 1:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. The purpose of this event is to educate the public about sustainable living options, current environmental issues, and conservation. Activities for all ages include food and beverages, t-shirts, eco-friendly raffle prizes from sponsors including Whole Foods and Ecojot, face-painting, games, live entertainment, vendor booths such as AVEDA and The Placerita Canyon Nature Center, on-site vehicles, and more! A great way to spend the Sunday afternoon with the family outside, and admission is FREE! Hosted by Valencia High School's EPA Club, with help from the Valencia High School Key Club and Girl Scout Troop 745.
