| Description: | SCV's first ever EcoFest 2008 will take place along Valencia High School's central campus pathway on Sunday, May 18th from 1:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. The purpose of this event is to educate the public about sustainable living options, current environmental issues, and conservation. Activities for all ages include food and beverages, t-shirts, eco-friendly raffle prizes from sponsors including Whole Foods and Ecojot, face-painting, games, live entertainment, vendor booths such as AVEDA and The Placerita Canyon Nature Center, on-site vehicles, and more! A great way to spend the Sunday afternoon with the family outside, and admission is FREE! If you are interested in becoming a vendor ($15 only) or a sponsor, there is still time (contact Hannah Goldner, EPA President and EcoFest Founder at (661)714-4563)! We can't wait to see you there! Hosted by Valencia High School's EPA Club, with help from the Valencia High School Key Club and Girl Scout Troop 745. |
