Description: Share Life with Blood, Food, and Love Heart of the Canyons Church will be hosting a Blood Drive for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and sponsoring a Food Drive for the Hunger Defense Fund food pantry. The goal of the event is have SCV residents exceed last year’s 105 units of blood and to re-stock the Hunger Defense Fund food pantry with non-perishable items. Almost all of us know of a child who has been treated at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, or a family who needs help with food. Share Life is about SCV families having a good time together while helping those who are facing difficulties. Bring the family to enjoy the carnival games, jumpers, live entertainment, food and beverages for the whole family, including a putting green, while helping others. The “Share Life event will be on October 26, 2008, from 8:00am - 1pm; food donations can be dropped off anytime between these hours. The event will be at La Mesa Junior High School located at 26623 May Way, Canyon Country, 91351 Everyone is welcome!
